Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how checkhealthscore.com (the "Service") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our health calculators. We are committed to protecting your privacy and have designed our service to minimize data collection.
1. Health Data: No Server Storage
All health data you enter into our calculators — including height, weight, age, blood pressure, menstrual dates, alcohol consumption, and any other health metrics — is processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is:
- Never transmitted to our servers
- Never stored in any database
- Never shared with any third party
- Automatically erased when you close or refresh the page
We have designed the service this way deliberately so that sensitive health information remains under your complete control at all times.
2. Information We Collect Automatically
Like most websites, we collect certain non-personally identifiable information automatically when you visit:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which calculators are most popular, what devices visitors use, general geographic regions). Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate geographic region (country/city level)
- Referring website
This data is anonymized and aggregated. We cannot identify individual visitors from this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our site (e.g., scrolling behavior, clicks). Clarity uses session replay technology but we configure it to mask all input fields containing health data. For more information, see Microsoft Clarity's Terms of Service.
Server Logs
Our web hosting provider automatically records standard server access logs, which may include your IP address, the pages you requested, and the date and time of the request. These logs are used only for technical troubleshooting and security monitoring, and are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for functionality:
- Language preference cookie (hcs_lang): Stores your selected language (e.g., Korean, English) so you don't need to reselect it on each visit. This cookie does not contain personal information and expires after one year.
- Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to track aggregate usage statistics as described above.
- Advertising cookies: Set by Google AdSense to display relevant advertisements. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
4. Google AdSense and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements that help support this free service. Google AdSense may use cookies and device identifiers to serve relevant ads based on your interests and browsing history. Google's advertising privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices or through your Google account ad settings.
5. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at contact@checkhealthscore.com.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Request information about data we hold about you
- Request deletion of personal data
- Opt out of certain data processing activities
Since we do not store health data, requests for access or deletion of health calculator inputs are not applicable. For analytics data managed by Google, you can exercise rights through Google's privacy tools.
8. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all communications between your browser and our servers. Since health data never leaves your browser, it is never exposed to network interception risks related to our service.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
